The wonder of moths - mothing with or without a moth trap

Will Langdon

St Leonard's Church, Watlington

Will Langdon will illustrate and celebrate the amazing diversity of moths that can be found locally. He will also reveal a whole variety of ways that moths can be found and recorded, beyond the ‘traditional’ moth trap, and how knowing a few of these simple tricks can reveal previously unseen moths, and contribute greatly to our understanding of moths in Oxfordshire.

Will is about to complete his PhD at Oxford University studying the responses of lepidoptera (moths and butterflies) to environmental change, and is an engaging and inspirational speaker.

2024 Programme

Most of our meetings are open to all and free for members. Some may require booking and visitors will be asked for a contribution.
